The lesson entitled What is the Periodic Table? was great. The students were really engaged and acheived the objective which was to distinguish elements based on their properties.
Wow! It looks like your students are really engaged. I find it difficult to find activities and lessons that make studying the periodic table fun and interesting. It is by far the hardest unit to keep my students engaged, but one of the most important in terms of percentage on the state test. Do you have any other examples of lessons that deal with the periodic table that keep your students engaged?
